Data Input
Not sure where to log your data? Hereโs a guide to inputting different types of data in mojo
mojo supports multiple types of health data, and each type has its own input method. Some data can be automatically synced from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android), while others require manual entry.
Body Measurements
Weight
Input Methods:
- โ Health platform sync: Automatically read from Apple Health / Health Connect
- โ Manual input: Tap the hollow circle in the trend chart on the Today tab
Steps:
- Open the Today tab
- Find the weight trend chart
- Tap a hollow circle on the chart
- Enter your weight and save
Body Fat Percentage
Input Methods:
- โ Health platform sync: Synced from smart scales that support body fat measurement
- โ Manual input: Tap the hollow circle in the trend chart on the Today tab
Muscle Mass
Input Methods:
- โ Auto-sync not supported: mojo does not currently support auto-syncing muscle mass from health platforms
- โ Manual input: Tap the hollow circle in the trend chart on the Today tab
Note: Muscle mass typically requires a body composition analyzer with InBody or similar technology.
GLP-1 Records
Injection Logs
Input Methods:
- โ Manual input: Enter in the injection progress section on the Today tab
Steps:
- Open the Today tab
- Find the injection progress section above the chart
- Tap the section
- Enter the injection date, dosage, and other details
Side Effects
Input Methods:
- โ Manual input: Enter in the injection progress section on the Today tab
Lifestyle Data
Food Logs
Input Methods:
- โ Health platform sync: Sync via third-party food tracking apps
- โ Deep link import: Import meals directly from supported apps into mojo
- โ Manual input: Tap โ+โ in the nutrition section on the Today tab
Recommended apps:
- MyFitnessPal
- FatSecret
- Lose It!
Exercise Records
Input Methods:
- โ Health platform sync
- โ Manual entry: There is no exercise input inside the mojo app, but you can add a workout by hand in the iPhoneโs built-in Health app โ it syncs straight into mojo
No watch? Add it yourself (works on every iOS version):
- Open the iPhoneโs built-in Health app
- Tap Browse, then go to Activity โ Workouts
- Tap Add Data in the top-right corner
- Enter the workout type and the start and end times
- Fill in the calories too โ that is the number mojo reads; leave it blank and the workoutโs energy will be 0
iOS 26 has a faster entry point: the Fitness app in iOS 26 gained a Workout tab at the bottom. Tap the pencil icon in the top-right to add one directly โ activity type and duration are on the same screen, and Active Calories are estimated for you. The Fitness app on iOS 25 and earlier has no such tab, so use the Health app route above.
Other ways to log exercise:
- Use an Apple Watch or Garmin watch to record workouts
- Use exercise apps that support Apple Health / Health Connect (e.g. Strava, Nike Run Club)
Sleep Records
Input Methods:
- โ Health platform sync
- โ Manual entry: There is no sleep input inside the mojo app, but you can add sleep by hand in the iPhoneโs built-in Health app
No watch? Add it yourself (iOS):
- Open the iPhoneโs built-in Health app
- Tap Browse at the bottom, then choose Sleep
- Tap Add Data in the top-right corner
- Pick an Asleep sleep type, enter your bedtime and wake time, then save
Pick the right type: Choose one of the sleep stages (Deep, Core, REM) so mojo can show both the total duration and a stage chart. Choosing Asleep only shows an unstaged total. Choosing In Bed also only shows an unstaged total, and only if it doesnโt overlap a sleep sample of another type.
Manually entered sleep usually only gives you a total duration, not a full Deep / Core / REM breakdown โ that needs a watch to measure.
Other ways to log sleep:
- Use the sleep tracking feature on Apple Watch or a Garmin watch
- Use sleep tracking apps that support Apple Health / Health Connect (e.g. AutoSleep, Sleep Cycle)
Water Intake
Input methods:
- Manual input in the water section on the Today tab:
- Tap + / โ to add or remove a serving at a time
- Long-press the progress bar and drag to set an exact amount (haptic feedback every 50 ml)
- Log icon: Tap the log icon on the water card title bar to type in an exact amount
- Health platform sync: Automatically read from Apple Health / Health Connect
Features:
- Set a custom daily hydration goal
- Supports ml / oz units

FAQ
Why canโt I find where to log food?
Tap โ+โ in the nutrition section on the Today tab to manually add a meal. You can also use a third-party food tracking app that supports health platform sync (e.g. MyFitnessPal) โ data will automatically sync to mojo.
Where are the hollow circles?
In the trend charts on the Today tab, any date without data shows as a hollow circle. Dates with data show as filled circles. Tap a hollow circle to enter data for that date.
Where is the injection progress section?
On the Today tab, there is an injection progress section above the trend charts. Tap it to log injections and side effects.
Can I bulk-import data?
Yes. In the โData Managementโ section of the Settings tab, you can use the CSV bulk import feature (currently iOS only). This is useful for importing large amounts of historical data from other apps or Excel.
