Referral Code
Every user has a unique referral code. When you invite a friend to join mojo, both of you earn bonus subscription days.
How It Works
- Find your referral code in Settings → Subscription & Account
- Copy or share it with a friend
- Your friend enters your code on their own Account page, within 7 days of registering
- As soon as the code is applied, both of you immediately receive 21 bonus subscription days
- Later, when your friend purchases a subscription, both of you receive an extra 21 bonus days
Entering a Referral Code
During onboarding sign-in, mojo no longer shows a referral-code pop-up. Instead, if you weren’t referred when you registered, an “Enter a referral code” card appears on your Account page (Settings → Subscription & Account).
The card is only available for the first 7 days after you register, and shows a countdown of the time remaining (e.g. “5 days left”, or “Less than 1 day left” in the final 24 hours). This is a hard limit: once 7 days pass, the card disappears and the code can no longer be applied, so be sure to enter it early. Once you enter a valid code, the card disappears automatically.
This step is optional — you can choose not to enter a referral code at all.
Referral Stats
On the referral code page, you can view:
- Number of people who purchased through your referral code
- Total bonus days earned
- Currently active bonus days
If a friend you referred later deletes their account, the corresponding referral bonus is marked as “Reversed” and no longer counts toward your active days. You can see the full source, grant date, and status of every bonus in the “Bonus Days Breakdown” section below.
Bonus Days Breakdown
The Account page includes an expandable Bonus Days Breakdown section, so you can see exactly where each of your extra subscription days came from, when it was granted, and its current status.
Tap the section header to expand it (collapsed by default). The active bonus-day total is shown on the right (e.g. “365 days total”).
Bonuses are grouped into three categories by source:

| Gift | Days granted through official campaigns or as compensation |
| Referred Others | Days you earned after a friend you referred purchased a subscription |
| Was Referred | Days you earned by entering someone’s referral code within the referral window after you registered |
Each entry shows the number of days, the grant date, and a status badge:
- Active: counted normally toward your subscription expiry date
- Reversed: no longer counted toward your active days, shown in grey with a strikethrough, along with the reason it was reversed (e.g. a friend you referred deleted their account)
At the bottom of the section you’ll see the totals: “Active total: X days / Reversed: Y days (excluded)”.
If you don’t have any bonus days yet, it shows “No bonus days yet”.
