Body Measurements
mojo tracks the following body metrics to help you understand how your body changes throughout your weight loss journey.
What Gets Tracked
Primary Measurements:
- Weight (kg / lb)
- Body Fat % (%)
- Fat Mass (kg / lb) โ can be logged independently or calculated automatically from weight ร body fat %
- Muscle Mass (kg / lb) โ skeletal muscle weight
Specialized Measurements (Premium):
- Visceral Fat Level (1โ59)
- Waist Circumference (cm / in)
Visceral Fat Levels Explained
mojo categorizes the visceral fat level (1โ59) you log into three tiers:
| Tier | Range |
|---|---|
| Normal | 1โ9 |
| Slightly High | 10โ14 |
| High | 15โ59 |
Visceral fat level is a measurement provided by body composition scales (e.g., TANITA, Omron). Different brands may use different grading thresholds; mojo uses the tiers above as a reference.
How to Log Data
Auto-Sync (Recommended)
Use a smart scale that supports Apple Health / Health Connect. After stepping on the scale, your data syncs to mojo automatically.
What can sync automatically:
- Weight and body fat % (iOS + Android)
- Waist circumference (iOS only, via Apple Health)
Manual Entry
Go to Settings โ Data Management โ Body Measurements and tap the โ+โ button in the top right.
The following can only be entered manually for now:
- Muscle mass (Apple Health and Health Connect donโt support skeletal muscle mass)
- Visceral fat level
- Waist circumference (Android)
Progress Charts
View trend charts in the Progress tab:
- Weight, body fat, and muscle mass trends over time
- Time range options: 1 month / 3 months / 6 months / All
- Tap a data point to see the exact value
- Automatically displays in your preferred unit (kg/lb)
Charts use injection dates as the X-axis reference, pulling measurements recorded within 3 days before or after each injection. Building a habit of weighing yourself before each injection will give you more complete chart data.
